Richard E. Madonia

1945-2024

Richard E. Madonia, 79, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife and daughters.

   Richard was born in Rome on May 15, 1945 the son of the late Andrew and Mary Viscosi Madonia.  He was educated in Rome Schools.  He was the owner of The Body Shop and Paint in Salina.  He loved working on cars. He loved doing things for his family and on his relaxing Sunday afternoons, he enjoyed watching the horse races and football.

   Richard is survived by his beloved family; his wife Patricia, daughters Gina (Mark) Aiello and Tricia (Kris) Yerger, and grandchildren Paige and Angelo.  He is also survived by his brothers Ronald and Jerry Madonia, and sister Arlene Madonia Depan.
