Louise Facciolo
Louise (DiMezzo) Facciolo, 96, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at her home.
She was born on September 26, 1924 in Chicago, IL., the daughter of Luigi and Phyllis Perricone DiMezzo. On January 12, 1947, in St. John the Baptist Church, she married Gregory Facciolo who passed away on January 1, 1997.
Louise was a graduate of RFA. She had worked as a seamstress for Lumas Manufactoring Co. until her retirement. She enjoyed playing Bocce, bowling and quilting. She totally enjoyed her family; children, grandchildren and great-children. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
She was an ardent cook and baker and enjoyed doing so for her family. She had an infectious laugh and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Louise is survived by her beloved family, her daughters Palma (Murray) Vienneau, Grace Bassett and Antoinette (Rick) Mumpton; sons, Nicholas (Carm) Facciolo and Gregory (Claudia) Facciolo all of Rome; sixteen grandchildren and twenty nine great-grandchildren; a sister Grace Tagliaferri; a brother Frank DiMezzo and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Oscar (Irene) DiMezzo, Lois DiMezzo and John Bassett.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9:30 in St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant. Masks must be worn in church.
There will be no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Louise’s name to St. John’s Endowment Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church.
