Lita Pasqualetti Hale
Lita Pasqualetti Hale, 82, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the Abraham House with her daughter and son by her side.
Lita was born in Rome on March 10, 1940, a daughter of Cristo and Maria Zeppieri Pasqualetti. She attended Rome Schools and was a graduate of Rome Free Academy, Class of 1958. On May 6, 1964, she married Frank “Gee” Guarascio Sr; together they had a daughter Annemarie. She later married Robert H. Hale on April 16, 1971; together they had a son Robert H. Hale II. Lita worked throughout the years at various jobs, but her favorite was decorating cakes with her brother Joe at the Roman Pastry Shop. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She lived her life for her family and cherished her four granddaughters and great-granddaughter.
Lita is survived by her daughter Annemarie (Ken) MacDonald; her son Robert H. Hale II; grandchildren Krista (Matthew) Darling of Yorkville, Kara MacDonald of Rome, Madison Hale of Oneida, Ella Hale of Whitesboro; great-granddaughter Stella-Rose Darling; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special daughter-in-law Rachel Cianfrocco Hale. Lita is predeceased by her parents; sisters and brothers-in-law Carmella and Louis DiBerardino, Angela (PeeWee) and Sam Bello; and brothers and sisters-in-law Jerry and Carmella Pasqualetti, August and Angeline Pasqualetti, and Joseph Sr. and Josephine Pasqualetti.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 11:30 am at St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Reverend Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant. Calling hours will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 from 4 – 6 pm at the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
