Conchetta "Connie" M. DiMaggio
Conchetta "Connie" M. DiMaggio, 84, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Connie was born in Rome on May 18, 1938 to the late Leonard and Della Tardugno. She was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. On January 26, 1963, she married James Anthony DiMaggio at St. John the Baptist Church, a blessed union of 60 years. Connie was employed at Griffiss Air Force Base and later as a part-time Librarian at Jervis Public Library. Connie loved Danielle Steele novels, embroidery, going to the casino and making sauce and meatballs. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Connie is survived by her loving family: her beloved husband James; children Jay Alan DiMaggio, Len Andrew (Deanna) DiMaggio, Kim DiMaggio (Todd) Weston; daughter-in-law Johnna DiMaggio; grandchildren Katie (Mike) Baker, Karrah DiMaggio(Joseph Calandra), Michael Rietkerk, Isabella DiMaggio, Brandon Newton, Leonardo DiMaggio and Anthony Weston; great-grandchildren Michael and Easton Baker; and special nephew Joey DiMaggio. She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Josephine Tardugno, and her grandson Nicolas Dimaggio Weston.

Calling hours will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 3-5 pm at the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St. There will be a prayer service at 5 pm at the Funeral Home led by Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio of St. John the Baptist Church. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Connie’s memory.
