Anthony Thomas Grago
Anthony Thomas Grago, 89, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Betsy Ross Health and Rehab Center.
Tony was born on August 7, 1935, son of Joseph and Josephine Grago. He attended Rome schools. Tony was a well-known photographer and also did auto body refinishing for various dealerships. Tony married Grace Marie Vescio in 1954 in St. John the Baptist Church, a blessed union of 47 years until her passing. He loved playing the trumpet, painting, and woodworking. He took great pride with his lawn and gardens. Tony was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church.
Tony is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws Sharon and Michael Bissonette of Ohio and Karen and Neal Hartung of Ohio and his son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Lori Grago of Rome. Grandchildren Christine Hessel, Ryan Michael Amuso, John Campanelli, and Justin Grago. He is also survived by his sisters Theresa Martin, Eleanor Ross and Kathy Miller. Tony was predeceased by his wife Grace, son Thomas J. Grago, granddaughter Adrienne Grago, and special friend Angeline Ferrucci
Services will be private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
