Annette Grosso
Annette Grosso, 85, of Rome, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021.
She was born in Utica on May 31, 1935 the daughter of Anthony and Jennie M. Gentile Wiegand Grosso. She was raised in Utica schools. She was married to the late Sam DeGeorge.
Annette worked at Jet Cleaners and DDSO. She loved to travel, shop and always looked her best.
She is survived by her beloved family, three daughters, Roxanne (Brian) Thomas of Rome, Colleen Giardino of Florida and Terri Adolfi of Oneida; cherished nine grandchildren, Tara (Jason) Richards of Florida, Patrick (Joy) Thomas of Texas, Michelle (Ryan) Sessions of Verona, Cassandra (Derek) Larson of Oriskany, Samantha (Eddie) Milosz of South Carolina, Nazie (Jaclyn) Adolfi of Rome, Brandi Adolfi of Utica, Justin (Janelle) Giardino of Syracuse, and Jillian (John) VanLieshout of Saratoga; seventeen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson Joseph Giardino.
The family would like to offer their thanks to her special home aides Danyell Coccia and Jessi Satterlee and special thanks to the Presbyterian Home for allowing her family to be at her side in the last week of her life.
There will be no calling hours but there will be a graveside service in the spring.
