Angeline M. Ferrucci
Angeline M. (Angie) Ferrucci, 85, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in the Rome Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility with her loving family by her side.
She was born on January 19, 1935 in Rome a daughter of Joseph and Angelina (Polizzi) Lombardo. On March 14, 1953 she married Richard L. Ferrucci who passed away on December 28, 1999. She attended RFA.
Angie worked for many years in the laundry of DDSO. She belonged to the Red Hat Society; enjoyed bocce, painting of ceramics, cross-stitch, knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed life and being with her family and friends.
Angie is survived by her beloved family, a daughter Karen M. Ferrucci of Utica; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Stephen R. Ferrucci of Rome and Richard (Melissa) Ferrucci of Rome; cherished grandchildren, Shannon (Ray) Wasko, R.J. Ferrucci, Liliana Ferrucci and Joseph Ferrucci; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marie and Rocco Migliori, Jr. and a special friend Tony Grago. She is predeceased by two brothers and five sisters.
The Ferrucci family would like to sincerely thank all of the staff on 3N of Rome Memorial Hospital for taking such wonderful care of our mother during very difficult times.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, January 22nd at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant. Private interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Masks and social distancing is required.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Angie’s name to Memorials Processing, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
