William T. Szaraz

William T. Szaraz, Jr., 63, of Shelton, WA and formerly of Vernon passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Shelton, WA..

He was born on June 22, 1953 in Syracuse the son of William J. and Concetta Liberati Szaraz, Sr. He attended Rome Schools graduating from RFA in 1972. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy serving from 1974 to 1980. Bill enjoyed fishing and working on his cars.

Bill is survived by his beloved family, his mother Concetta “Connie”; a sister, Mary Gatley and her fiancée Pat Loso of Rome; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Lorraine Szaraz of Vernon; nieces and nephews, Amanda and David VanSaun, Emily and Devin O’Toole, Meg Szaraz, Katherine Gatley, Joe Gatley, Tricia Loso and Anna Loso. He was predeceased by his father, William J. Szaraz Sr.

Private graveside services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 at St. Helena’s Valley View Cemetery in Sherrill by the Rev. Bill Mesmer.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
