Betty J. Sanders Leonard

Betty J. Sanders Leonard, 94, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Grand Nursing Home.

She was born on October 9, 1922, in Oakmont, PA the daughter of Reuben and Annabelle Haley Dickinson. She was married to Walter E. Sanders who passed away in 1970 and William G. Leonard who passed away in 1990. She had worked as a sales clerk in department stores.

Betty is survived by her beloved family, two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Laura Sanders of FL and Dan and Patty Sanders of Rome; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Donald Shipley, CA; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
