Orbinati, Julia C.

Julia C. Orbinati, 82, of Utica, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 8, 1930 in Rome, the daughter of Nicholas and Mary Carollo Coluccio. On June 23, 1951 she married her high school sweetheart, Michael J. Orbinati, a blessed union of 59 years. Mr. Orbinati passed away on June 29, 2010. She was a graduate of RFA, class of 1948. She was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Utica. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Presbyterian Home, especially the Willow Unit, who were an extended family to Julia Julia is survived by her beloved family, three daughters and two sons-in-law; Mary Orbinati-Dorozynski of Sauquoit, Julie and Robert Moore of SC and Jane and Brian Zegarelli of CA, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael G. Orbinati of SC and Nicholas J. and Candy Orbinati of Sauquoit, her cherished grandchildren, David Zogby, Natalie Orbinati, Nicholas Orbinati, Jennifer Mojave, Juliann Moore, Sheila Moore, Sam Zegarelli, Rachel Zegarelli, Olivia Zegarelli and Luke Zegarelli, a sister-in-law Frieda Orbinati and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Genesee St., Utica, for a Mass of Christian Burial, with the Rev. Joseph Salerno officiating and were relatives and friends are invited to attend. The family will receive relatives and friends in the church vestibule immediately following the Mass. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. At Julia’s request, there will be no calling hours Please omit flowers. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home.
